When it comes to building forms, tools like Google Forms, Typeform, or SurveyMonkey are often the go-to options. And it's true, they all can do a great job depending on your end goal. But what if we tell you that you can build forms within Figma and seamlessly embed them on your website?

The concept of going from Figma designs to the web with a single click is quite recent. Hence, the full value Weavely offers might not be immediately apparent to those coming across this Figma plugin. Let's explore a real-world example: how our users from Switchere, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, built a post-purchase feedback form with Weavely. Challenge

Looking to understand the reasons behind every purchase on their e-commerce platform, Switchere wanted to gather post-purchase feedback from their customers in an efficient and non-intrusive manner. They also wanted a custom solution that at the same time would be quick to implement. And when you think custom, what can do better than Figma? ;)

Our Solution

So, our users decided they want to design their form in Figma. It then comes down to bringing this form to life without coding. That's where Weavely enters the game!

Switchere found the missing piece of their puzzle when their UX designer Nikolai Khachatrian googled for "forms in Figma" and came across our plugin. Nikolai later shared with us that he "could not find any form builder that would be so good looking" which is thanks to it being "highly customisable due to the Figma design capabilities". The tool allowed Switchere to very quickly create a post-purchase feedback form in Figma and embed it on their platform.

Implementation: from Figma to the E-Commerce Platform

Here is the Switchere's form design in Figma and the component library (on the left) that Weavely generates once you select the form elements you'd like your form to contain. As you can see, the design itself is pretty simple and minimalistic. But that was what our users were aiming for, having only adjusted colours to match their website colour palette.

The form creation took just a few minutes. Select the form elements, paste them onto your form, edit the design, hit publish - done!  Although Switchere chose to start with a "blank" form, you can also use Weavely's AI form generator that will speed up the building process even more.

Once the form was published, Switchere copied the embed code and seamlessly integrated the form on their e-commerce wesbsite.

Results

Incorporating a post-purchase feedback survey into your e-commerce marketing strategy is an effective method for driving growth and understanding customer behaviour. It becomes especially valuable when you think about the great response rate achieved by Switchere using the form made in Figma.

They collected 208 customer responses out of 580 impressions on the form within a two-week timeframe. This way, the company surpassed the usual response rate benchmark of around 30% for post-purchase feedback forms in e-commerce.

And considering the minimal time and effort our users dedicated to implementing the form, the results are particularly noteworthy.
